Smart card: tap or scan
The NFC/QR smart card supports both a compatible NFC phone tap and a QR camera scan. The profile opens in a browser; no viewer app is needed.
Public means owner-approved
Every link, scan or tap opens only the details chosen for the public profile. Your private Garage stays private.

No. The owner-approved public profile opens in a compatible web browser.
Which SmartRideAI products can I tap or scan?
QR key tags use QR camera scanning. Round NFC badges use a compatible NFC phone tap. NFC/QR smart cards support both tap and scan. All open the linked public vehicle profile.
Does the free Ghost tier include NFC or QR hardware?
No hardware is included with free Ghost membership. Eligible Ghost members can buy optional hardware separately in the Shop where paid purchases are available. The hardware opens your profile and does not change your membership features.
Are Icon and Curator available to everyone?
Not at the moment. Icon and Curator are currently invite-only while SmartRideAI opens selected membership waves.
What is Curator Launch Edition hardware?
Some selected Curator launch members may be offered complimentary hardware. It is a limited launch offer, not an automatic registration benefit.
